Where to Meet
We start the Dean Village & Circus Lane Walk next to the most stunning gardens in Edinburgh: Princes St Gardens West. Get to the meeting point 20-30mins early and you'll have enough time to enjoy the gardens, before the tour starts. There are also public toilets very close to the meeting point.
Meeting Location for the tour: Statue of Sir James Young Simpson, 132 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 3AA. Please allocate at least 20mins to get here from the Royal Mile.
Your guide will be standing in front of this statue, on Princes St. The statue is very close to the blue "Edinburgh Bus Tours" kiosk (this building looks like a garden shed).
